News in a flash—Today is the birthday of Rajeshvara Chakrabarti, a man who used to be a cow in his past life, was born a human baby boy in a south coast town in India. He told people he was a cow in his past life and vividly remembered the experiences of living as a cow. He emigrated to America in the late 1970's and became a voice against animal consumption—especially cows. His influence to people who believed his cause grew strong and he rose to be one of the founding fathers of PETA in the 80's.
