News in a flash—Luke Mesina, a bodybuilding enthusiast who was encouraged by his trainers to join a local fitness competition, stood 1st place over 6 other participants who were not quite as good as him. Luke, who was so emotional with his accomplishment, vastly thanked everyone for their support and promised to use his newly found fame to inspire others. He put up a Facebook page right away, two hours after he was crowned and started posting quotes and inspirational messages to encourage everyone who ever doubted themselves. Most of Luke's messages revolved around hard work, determination and success—and that laziness and mediocrity lead to failure.
