Charitable Thief Issued Up To 40% Refund To His Poor Victims

 August 28, 1990

News in a flash—Eddy Penn, a thief known to many as the modern day Robin Hood, issued refunds of up to 40% to all his victims who are poor and also promised not to rob poor people as much as the rich. Eddy broke into houses, held up people at gunpoint, ran schemes and did everything else along the lines of thievery. He specialized in breaking into rich people's houses to take as much as valuables as he could, but will only take a portion if the victim for some reason happens to be poor. Orphaned at 5 and grew up with nothing, Eddy always had a soft spot for the poor. Not only he refused to take everything if the victim is poor, he had announced to refund them of up to 40% of the amount he had unlawfully acquired from them. He gave poor people who claimed to have been his victims until the end of the month to file a refund application. Late claims were subject to a late claim fee that is 5% of the refundable amount.
