U.S. Federal Government Rolls Sleeves On School Shootings: Will Mandate Everyone Inside Every U.S. High School To Wear Bullet Proof Vests And Possibly Bullet Proof Helmets Daily

 February 16, 2018

Fed up with all the mass shootings largely besetting high school grounds, the U.S. Federal Government steps up to the plate to finally put an end to what has become a staple of American News for many years. A resolution to pass a law that will strictly require everyone who steps into a U.S. high school to wear a bullet proof vest is currently being polished. Congress is also fiercely debating as to whether or not the law should also require everyone to wear a bullet proof helmet to further ensure safety. "My God, this is like happening on a bi-weekly basis," said NRA Spokesperson, Edmund Gatling. "We have to resort to extreme measures to finally put an end to this... It's not like we can stop people with their guns, it's protected by the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, people have the right to keep and bear arms," he said. Gun enthusiasts and gun ownership advocates have also expressed sympathy to the victims and supported the proposed law. "They just really need to be careful, you know? We can't control people who want to own guns just because 15 or something highschoolers and faculty staff that I've never met in some sleepy town were all shot dead," said a gun collector, Jackery Malone. "They need to be responsible and stuff, it's their lives at stake after all," the 57-year old--who also canceled a hunting trip to comment on the issue--added to his statement. In the meantime, Americans are hoping that the shootings can stay in hiatus while law makers are keenly working on the proposal. Aside from the additional helmet issue which is expected to sort out soon, Congress is also seriously looking if kids and faculty, or everyone who takes a step into a U.S. high school must also carry firearms to protect themselves. "You never know when these shootings arise--you must be able to protect yourself when they do happen and shoot back when necessary," one of the Congressmen was overheard saying.
