Journalist Filmed Documentary About Her Living Lives Of Poor People And Easily Made It Look Real

 September 08, 2009

News in a flash—Irish Journalist and Documentarist, Helen O'Connor, filmed the first of her 2-season, 7-episode-per-season documentary series where she lived the lives of poor people from different countries and made it look like she really lived it. May it be in the slums of Honduras, the wretched conditions of Haiti, or the abject indigence in a coastal town in the Philippines, O'Connor walked a mile in the shoes of different poor people for an average of 12.5 minutes per episode and convinced viewers that she lived each person's life for 2 weeks. Miss O'Connor once again embodied the valiant and down-to-earth person that she was always known for, by working a range of poor-person jobs, such as a garbage explorer, a shoe mender, and even a beggar, for a significant 12 minutes—that's if she didn't manage less—before checking back in to her 4-star accommodation that's within her network's budget at the end of each filming day.
