July 03, 1864
News in a flash—Abraham Lincoln, 16th President of the United States of America, a great leader of a nation by day and a vampire hunter at night, engaged in a fierce battle against a group of vampires led by a well-known vampire, John Wilkes. Lincoln slayed most of the group, including Andrew, the brother of John Wilkes. John was infuriated with his brother's death and plotted revenge against Lincoln. On April 14, 1865, Lincoln attended a play at Ford's Theater where he was assassinated by Wilkes. He attacked the unwary president from behind with a vicious bite to the neck that quickly resulted to his death. Years later, Wilkes was also killed by one of Lincoln's protege, Buffy, the vampire slayer.
