North Korea Opens Communication Lines With South Korea

 January 06, 2018

In an unprecedented development, North Korean Leader, Kim Jong-un has initiated to open diplomatic communication lines between the two Korean nations after lengthy dealings of insults and animosity between them. Asked what he wants to talk about when they finally meet, Kim Jong-un said that whatever the topic is, it doesn't matter to him. "What matters is that we are talking," Kim said. "They could ask me stuff like what food I like, where I hang out on Saturday nights, or what my hobbies are. It's really up to them," the plump dictator candidly expressed. "I'm particularly interested in music, movies and I have a huge stamp collection, so maybe I'll ask if they're also into those things." Keeping up with the cordiality, South Korean President, Moon Jae-in, said that South Korea has reciprocated Kim's interest in talks. "We also love to talk," according to Moon. "I also don't mind talking about what he likes or whatever, I'm here to listen. I'm sure we can still find something in common." Moon boasted that he used to be head of a conversation club in high school, and he would initiate conversations of different on and off-campus topics when they meet-up every Thursday afternoon. "I was a hell of a talker back then. Now that I have matured, I try to listen more, that's the key to successful communication," the 64-year old president said. As of press time, Kim Jong-un have sent out his invitation to South Korea and got pretty excited about it. "I would like to show them my new bike. We can ride together, I will ride my new bike and they can ride my old one," Kim gleefully told reporters. Moon, on the other hand, intends to go to Kim's with his delegates but expressed some concerns. "This is highly experimental. We have decided to bring our own food and drinks when we meet." When asked why, the president simply implied that Kim is known for his tantrums and they don't want to be in an awkward position and starve if he starts to throw fits at lunch time.
