News in a flash—Eddie Gein was released from the Institute of Mental Health Center after 5 years of rigorous and thorough treatment. He suffered mental illness and was reported by his neighbors to be quite violent and constantly disturbing. He would display severed heads of cats on pickets in his front yard to demonstrate dominance and scare off his supposed enemies. Eddie was initially uncooperative with his guardians at the facility, but gradually responded to treatments and was eventually cleared for release after exhibiting a propensity to conventional behavior. As a free man, he tried to be productive and invented what is known as "breakfast in bed" which is gross and stupid.
